Objectives

  To know how to identify the properties, as an instantaneous source (of voltage or current), of the different parts of an electrical diagram;
- To know how to construct or identify on an electrical diagram the switching cells;
- Know how to identify the degrees of freedom that these cells provide for the control of power transfers at different time scales;
- To know how to express the mathematical transformation relations realized on the electrical quantities of the cell;
- To know the different equivalent circuits of the cell;
- To know how to dimension the semiconductor components of the cell;
- Know how to construct the static and dynamic characteristics of the cell's semiconductors;
- Know how to synthesize the power semiconductor components of the cell.

Description

This teaching represents the first step and the basis for learning methods of design of static converters. It is based on 6 classes associated with 3 tutorials, which permit to consolidate the acquisition of knowledge. It is completed in the same EU by the project "design of converters".
