Objectives

Become familiar with free surface flow simulation software that solves the equations of Saint-Venant 1D and/or 2D.

Description

Use of a calculation code to study flows in canals or rivers: propagation of a flood hydrograph, management of an irrigation canal, impact of structures.

The course is designed to integrate theoretical, practical (use of software) and hands-on aspects while following a methodology close to that encountered in the professional environment.
