Traitement des eaux
Objectives
Through a process engineering approach, to introduce conventional treatment techniques in the production of drinking water, treatment of wastewater and sludge, then study of unit operations liquid/solid treatment.
Description
Drinking water treatment :
- Conventional treatments: coagulation-flocculation, decantation, filtration, disinfection ;
- Desalination of brackish water and sea water ;
- New treatments: membrane processes, nitrification, denitrification.
- Sizing of unit operations: filtration, membrane filtration, chromatography and decantation/centrifugation
Sanitation :
- Implementation of stations, characterization of urban effluents;
- Pretreatments: storage, screening, sieving ;
- Primary treatments;
- Secondary treatment.
Sludge treatment and valorization :
- Thickening ;
- Aerobic and anaerobic sludge digestion; dewatering
