Objectives
At the end of the course, students will be able to
- identify the origins of coupling
- use the formalism of line theory on single- and multi-conductor cables
- compare different models to describe field-cable coupling
- explain the purpose and functioning of magnetic shielding and electrical shielding
Description
This course covers low- and high-frequency electromagnetic compatibility, methods for modelling coupling and shielding issues in electronic systems.
Pre-requisites
