    In brief

  • Code : N5AM01A

Objectives

The objective of the course is to introduce the basic concepts in mathematics that will be used for the modeling of engineering problems in fluid mechanics. Some additions on the program level bac +2 will be offered as tutored work (trigonometric functions, exponentials, linear forms, integrals Riemann ...).

Description

Program :
- complement of linear algebra
- differentiation and calculation of multiple integrals
- Fourier transformation
- distributions
- analytical functions

Targeted skills

At the end of the course the student will have to carry out calculations of linear algebra (operations on vectors and matrices, diagonalization, resolution of linear systems), to know how to use and to interpret the differential operators (gradient, divergence, rotational ), to understand the notion of differentiation, to calculate the most elementary multiple integrals, to know how to use the Fourier transformation, to know how to manipulate the generalized function of Dirac and to generalize the derivation to the discontinuous functions.
