Composante
École Nationale Supérieure d'Électrotechnique d'Électronique d'Informatique d'Hydraulique et des Télécommunications
Objectifs
Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
- Demonstrate an advanced understanding of the principal challenges associated with IoT access networks, including energy efficiency, synchronization, scalability, and reliability.- Critically analyze and compare key communication paradigms for IoT, with a particular focus on Low-Power Wide-Area Networks (LPWAN) and Wireless Personal Area Networks (WPAN).- Design and rigorously evaluate IoT architectures tailored to diverse application requirements, ranging from low-throughput, delay-tolerant telemetry systems to high-capacity, performance-sensitive applications.
Description
This course aims to provide a comprehensive foundation in the design, analysis, and evaluation of modern Internet of Things (IoT) systems and architectures. It addresses the fundamental principles, technological enablers, and performance considerations underlying large-scale IoT deployments.
Pré-requis obligatoires
Students are expected to have successfully completed the course “Réseaux Sans-Fil” (N8EN19B) or to demonstrate equivalent knowledge in wireless networking fundamentals.
